Pforzheim, 19.02.2024 – At this year’s E-World in Essen, the PropTech startup Sensaru announces its new partnership with energy management specialist ClimaCloud. Sensaru has developed the first self-installable sensory measuring system that allows real estate companies to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively digitize their heating systems and uncover energy-saving potentials. 

Together with energy management specialist ClimaCloud, Sensaru is now working to expand the range of services of its platform. This includes not only deeper data analysis of measurements but also the automated creation of energy reports and energy certificates. 

Energy reporting and energy certificates at the push of a button 

As part of this partnership, Sensaru customers will have access to a fully automated energy reporting tool. Energy reports and energy certificates based on consumption and master data will be available for download within seconds and can be accessed at any time during the year. 

Up to 30 percent savings on heating costs through deeper data analysis

In a further step, the data measurement expertise of both companies will be integrated on the software side. This integration allows for even deeper analysis and interpretation of measurement data. Thanks to ClimaCloud's years of expertise, the derived recommendations for action from the analysis lead to an average annual savings of heating costs of 15 to 30 percent. This mainly involves optimized settings or malfunctions that would not have been noticed without measurement data. 

New functions particularly relevant for EU taxonomy

The reduction of primary energy consumption as well as the associated energy reporting is especially relevant in light of the EU taxonomy. The regulation aims to steer investments more towards sustainability. For the housing industry, this means that properties are primarily evaluated and classified based on their energy consumption. An important factor for financing by banks. Sensaru enables, with its S1 measuring system, not only quick and cost-effective identification of energy-saving potentials but also proof of necessary key figures with the reporting tool to meet the EU taxonomy requirements.
