Most heating systems regulate their energy demand based on two parameters:

Outside temperature sensor

Measures the outside temperature and regulates the heating power. More heat is produced in cold weather, less in milder temperatures.

return temperature

Indicates how much heat the water has lost on the way back. The cooler the water returns, the more heat needs to be generated.

The problem

The constant adjusting up and down causes a high energy consumption – like driving on a highway in stop-and-go traffic.

Gateway and smart sensors

The Sensaru system is integrated into your existing heating system. Smart sensors capture precise data such as supply and return temperatures, the outside temperature, and the actual heat demand of your building.

Step 2

AI-driven regulation in the cloud

The sensors send the data directly to the cloud. There, the AI continuously analyzes the heating system and optimizes the system so that only the energy needed to maintain the desired temperature is provided. The comfort of the tenants is not affected.

Step 3

Heating curve optimization

Sensaru acts between the outdoor temperature sensor and the heating control. The system continuously modifies the signal so that the heating perceives a different outdoor temperature. This adjusts the heating output to the actual demand – without loss of comfort for the residents.

Old regulation as a backup

If the Sensaru system fails, it will automatically switch back to the internal heating regulation. The customer retains system sovereignty at all times and can manually activate the 'old' regulation.

Through the dashboard, property managers have direct access to measurement data, analyses, and energy reports – and can see at any time how their heating systems are performing.
